She and her husband, Adam moved to the West Coast of Florida two years ago because they truly love the sea, salt, and sand. This part of Florida holds a special place in their hearts with numerous family vacations, but most importantly, the beaches of Sanibel Island is where Rachel and Adam chose to be married.
Rachel earned her Interior Design degree from Alfred State College in New York and immediately dove into the workforce at a New York firm collaborating on high-end residential homes on Chautauqua Lake and in Chautauqua Institution. Her focus there was space planning and material selections for remodel and new construction homes as well as kitchen and bathroom design.
Now, Rachel is an Interior Design Associate at KDL and is expanding her skills and knowledge to include furniture, fabrics, and every detail in between to complete the entire design process. Rachel thoroughly enjoys working with clients on a personal level to make their design dreams a reality. She is fascinated by how powerful interior design can be in making someone’s house a home, tailored to their exact wants and needs. When not at work, you can find Rachel and Adam on a sandy beach under the Florida sun, most likely with a fishing rod in hand.
